Ashington Parish Council will be holding two drop-in Neighbourhood Plan sessions for the public and other interested parties to attend. On display will be the Preferred Site Allocations that the Council is proposing to meet the number of new homes required to be delivered in the period up to 2031. Along with this is an explanation of how these sites were chosen and what other community benefits they would be expected to provide. Sessions will take place at Ashington Community Centre on Friday 1stFebruary 2-7pm and Saturday 2ndFebruary 10am-1pm.
Pop in to learn more about the Neighbourhood Plan and how we have reached our current position, how we have chosen these sites, why we need this number of homes and what wider benefits they will bring to the Parish. These engagement events are intended to give the opportunity for people to say what they think and to feed back on the preferred site allocations.
