BUS4U covers Ashington
To book call the Travel Centre on 01730 815518. Cost (there 5 zones - Adult Single in one zone £1, travel in two or more zones Adult single £1.50) are in green leaflets in the Post Office, Methodist Hall and Community Centre. Holders of a Sussex County Card and children between 5 and 15 travel at half the adult price. Anyone can use it Mon –Sat 0730hrs to 18.00hrs All you need to do is book one hour to one week before you wish to travel. Being a low floored vehicle for wheel chair access, the bus may not be able to reach some roads for door to door service due to the traffic humps, so pick up and drop off points will be agreed with passengers when booking. These will usually be just south of the top roundabout and outside of the Red Lion.
Storrington  Area Help Scheme 
This scheme covers Ashington and is for residents without transport who have medical appointments. Contact no 01903 742124 9.30am- 12noon Mon - Friday. A realistic contribution is requested
